When LSU and Alabama square off on Saturday both defenses will be the center of attention.

LSU's defense will face a Crimson Tide unit that is 11th in the country in scoring at 41 points a game, and they average 436 yards a game of total offense.

Some feel that a rushing attack that averages 214 yards a game is the key in stopping Bama, but A.J. McCarron is completing 69 percent of his passes, averaging 210 yards a game, and has tossed 18 touchdowns with no interceptions.
